Our in-depth, 4-week residential training course will include all the qualifications you will need (if you are from Wales or Scotland, there are particular qualifications you will need in order to be able to trade & regulations are changing in England too).

Property franchise discovery meetings

A face-to-face meeting with the team here at our Central Office to give you the opportunity to learn what it takes to run a sales and lettings franchise business under Belvoir, Newton Fallowell, Northwood, Lovelle or Nicholas Humphreys brands. It is a chance for us to get to know you and your ambitions and make sure the opportunity is the right fit for you. We will identify suitable opportunities, potential locations and give you a chance to meet the Belvoir Group franchise support teams.

Property franchise support

We pride ourselves on the support we offer our property franchisees, and it begins here. After your discovery day, we encourage you to get in touch with other Belvoir, Newton Fallowell, Northwood, Lovelle or Nicholas Humphrey’s property franchisees. After all, they have been through the same process and can offer you invaluable advice that draws from their own experiences.

Should you wish to pursue a sales and lettings franchise opportunity with us, we will match you with one of our Business Development Mentors (BDM). They will always be on-hand for guidance and support, no matter where you are on your property franchise journey. You will also be able to pay a deposit to secure your chosen opportunity.

Research

We will give you the tools to allow you to conduct your own thorough due diligence and market research. You will spend time with your Business Development Mentor who will ensure your knowledge is robust and that you set realistic predictions for your business. Armed with the bigger picture, you will have the foundations for your marketing plan.

 

Acceptance

By now, you will have a solid understanding of the marketplace and the potential your franchise opportunity with Belvoir, Newton Fallowell, Northwood, Lovelle or Nicholas Humphrey’s presents. With the help of our central support teams, you will have your business plan, financial forecast and funding in place. You will have even identified a premises and have a plan for the refit if required. Once your plans are approved with central office, we can formally welcome you into the Belvoir Group fold.

Training

We know that starting a business has its challenges, and we are here to help you overcome any hurdles. We want you to have the training and support that enables you to take your sales and lettings franchise from triumph to triumph. Our four-week training course will reinforce how the Belvoir Group brands operate, and help you find ways to stand out from your competitors. It will get you off on the right foot for when your sales and lettings agency opens its doors to the public.

Do you need to have experience?

No. There are many very successful franchisees who had never been estate agents or letting agents before.

We provide intensive training to prepare you for the estate & lettings industry. You do need to have an aptitude for training and the willingness to undergo & take onboard the training.

If you have experience in the industry, we welcome it. We work with many people that have worked in the industry and that would like to run their own business. Likewise, if you have an interest in property or experience as a landlord or as a property developer, this will only help.

So we’ll start with a conversation – once we understand your financial position, we will tailor an ownership plan for you. Often this means putting you in touch with lenders and financial partners that we have longstanding relationships with, to enable you to raise the capital needed to start your business – whether that be acquiring a pre-established Belvoir, Newton Fallowell, Northwood, Lovelle or Nicholas Humphreys branded business, taking over a competitor brand or opening a new office altogether.
