Northwood is part of the Belvoir Group and Reading & Newbury franchisee Mitch Mitchison says staff will be retained at the 24-year old family run business.
Northwood Reading & Newbury has doubled the size of its business overnight after buying Jon Rosi Management for an undisclosed sum.
Northwood is part of the Belvoir Group and Reading & Newbury franchisee Mitch Mitchison (main picture) says: “I am pleased that the acquisition of Jon Rosi Management (Reading) has completed as we have been working on this for some time.”
Attractive Proposition
And he adds: “It was a very attractive proposition for me as although the business offers a residential sales service it is primarily a lettings agency with a large portfolio and it has doubled the size of my business overnight.”
Jon Rosi has been trading in Reading for nearly a quarter of a century and Mitchison says that family run agency has a ‘good reputation’.
He says: “The previous owners worked very hard to establish an excellent relationship with their landlords and that is something that has always been important to me.
“I would like to reassure all new and existing clients that they can look forward to receiving continued high levels of customer service from our own family-run business with all the additional benefits of being part of the Northwood franchise group.
“We have no plans to make big changes to the business and I am delighted that the team at Jon Rosi will be remaining with us, as this will help to ensure a smooth transition for all of our valued customers.”
Third Acquisition
Phil Gee, Northwood Managing Director, says: “I am incredibly pleased for Mitch, who is a highly professional franchisee and has been with Northwood for 10 years.
“This is his third acquisition and by the far the largest so far and will make his business one of the largest in Reading.
“Mitch is a former military man and I have no doubt he will apply his impeccable attention to detail and fantastic communication skills to ensure that this expansion is a huge success.”
